ICE ICE BABY!!! But this is PLASTIC ICE and it's great to put in cold drinks. I use it for my iced drinks/slurpees so my Moringa/Soursop teas slushy the whole day.
Ok... I know this is kinda weird but think of all the places that you can't drink the water... if you can't drink the water you certainly shouldn't be making ice and using it in your family's drinks either right? Right.

This is a REAL PROBLEM in some places and REUSEABLE plastic ice is something they sell here (Senegal is a desert so it's a great alternative to having a melting mess every time you take ice out of the freezer!)
I love these and they are in the refrigerator at my SenegalStyle BnB HomeStay Guesthouse! Some travelers are wary of water/ice so I have some frozen plastic cubes in the freezer for them and ready to go! They last forever!

It's 'recycled' technically but clean and totally unused. The factory makes plastic rugs, buckets, chairs, all types of household goods but the guys here buy up the excess plastic and make fans, bracelets, ice cubes and purses.
