Many people prefer to force us to use platforms like Etsy and eBay but truth be told, your money is then supporting the platform, not the seller. Etsy takes a 23% commission on sales and is confiscating another 75% of seller receipts left and right for no reason at all. I am transitioning off Etsy along with thousands of other sellers and I have filed complaints with PayPal and BBB and alerted various journalists to this situation but American media doesn't seem to be interested. The British and the Australians are investigating them however.

They say on their front page 'Please be advised that due to the high volume of complaints received for this business, BBB publishes 1 out of every 5 complaints handled through our conciliation process.' and then 'Customer Reviews are not used in the calculation of BBB Ratings' to let you know that their A- ratings means nothing when they have over 2500 complaints published but 10k total - they only publish 1 out of every 5. It's insane.

What most people in Senegal in particular and West Africa in general are what we sell - these modern, softer and more colorful ones.

Similar to the 'Sapor' brand aka Lava Ponge, these are 'ethically' sourced in the markets of Africa (Senegal, West Africa, specifically, BY ME PERSONALLY.... I actually live here in The Motherland of Senegal so there's no 'FAIRer TRADE than that!) they are multicolor and minimally packaged to protect the environment.

HAND WASH BEFORE & AIR DRY BEFORE USING add soap and you'll be AMAZED at the amount of suds it produces! They are 1/2 yard flat (stretch to 1 yard) strips of netting much like a poof bathing ball but stiffer to get all the dead skin off and give you a good scrub a dub dub! It's long so you can wash your back easily as mentioned in the video below about how to use it. A cotton washcloth just moves bacteria around and wastes soap... think about how much soap get wasted in a washcloth vs a net!
