Grows naturally, (wild) here in Senegal and I sell in tbags (60, reusable 3x) or leaves. It's used as a natural herbal remedy for high blood pressure because it's a FIERCE DIURETIC, gets rid of ALL excess water and therefore, you lose weight too!
I drink Kinkleba all the time. EVERYONE in Senegal does, every morning, just for their health, period. It's great stuff, also called 'Red Tea' in the west and BETTER THAN HOODIA as an appetite suppressant. Cheaper too.
U don't know if, when you buy Hoodia off Amazon or whatever, that it's authentic the 3rd or 4th time you buy it... let alone the first time. Regarding the tea leaves: You only use a small handful and reuse the leaves 3 or 4 times. The teabags can be reused 3x each. Our teabags and natural teas are 100% PURE, no fillers and that's why they can be reused over and over and over.
They aren't 'one and done' like Lipton!

Another tea that's similar to Kinkeliba is called Doute' and it's from The Gambia. Kinkeliba is from Senegal/Doute' is from Gambia. These two countries are side by side but BOTH TEAS are necessary to have in your herbal tea collection.
This is the scientific research for Doute:
Here in Senegal, they sell both Kinkelba and Doute' but from my observations, people prefer Doute' when given a choice. Maybe it's because they already drink Kinkelba every day but Doute' is especially good for people with diabetes because it has MORE antioxidants than any other tea

Kinkelba is 2nd, Doute; is 1st and prescribed by doctors here to treat (and prevent) diabetes. They drink a really sweet tea during the day called Ataya and over the years, all that sugar accumulates so to PREVENT getting 'sugar' or diabetes, they drink Doute' and that keeps the diabetes at bay!
The leaves are smaller and kind of rolled up when dried, but there is a definite difference between the two but having both is a better deal.
